Handmade and Crocheted Dreadlock Extensions
We have 3 types of dreadlock extensions of Wool, Synthetic hair and Human Hair.
Synthetic dreadlock extensions are made from synthetic hair and are often used to braid into regular hair.
Dreadlock extensions of Human Hair are made of real human hair and are used to lengthen 'real' dreadlocks.
Dreadlock extensions of wool are made of Nepalese wool and are very easy to wear compared to other dreadlocks and braids in.
What type of dreadlock extensions should I choose?
Real human hair dreadlock extensions are particularly suitable for extending newly started dreadlocks, or for extending pre-existing, long dreadlocks. They may be a bit more expensive than other extensions, but the durability is almost infinite. Therefore, dreadlock extensions of real hair are perfect for a more permanent solution.
If, on the other hand you want to try having dreadlocks, before you make the final leap into the world of dreadlocks, dreadlock extensions of synthetic hair are a great place to start, as you can regularly change them out and try on different colors. Extensions of wool are applied as double-ended and offer a different look than dreadlock extensions of real hair or synthetic hair. These can both be braided into ordinary hair or applied permanently and are available in several different colors.
In the webshop you can buy both single-end and double-ended dreadlock extensions. if you want a "full head" of dreadlocks we recommend that you use a mix of both. This will make your hair look more natural and at the same time add more volume.
Dreadlock extensions can be used to either lengthen real dreadlocks or you can braid extensions in natural hair. Extensions for dreadlocks can also be used to add color and extra volume to the hair. Some install individual dreadlocks to be able to decorate them with beads and jewelry, or to be able to use them to tie up the rest of the hair.
